Villagers are a type of NPC (Non-Playable Characters) featured in Minecraft. They have the role of annoying greedy traders in ExplodingTNT's videos.
Appearance[]
Unlike the highly diverse Players, all villagers used too have the same basic appearance before the 1.15 update: tall, robe-wearing humans with long heads, green (or red) eyes, a large, pink mouth, a large nose, and a long unibrow stretching across the tops of their eyes. They bear a strong resemblance to witches, as well as illagers, added later. Villagers now are very diverse as they now have different ways of showing their job for example librarians have a book on their head as well as glasses along with cartographers who have a monacle also there robe color and depends on what biome they are in if they are in the og plains they will have the normal brown robe, if they are in the desert they will have a tattered yellow and white robe, if they are in a acacia wood biome they will have red robes. It is also now easier for villagers to have children in which people use them to make farms where they just breed villagers sop they have enough villagers to trade with.
Personality[]
Villagers typically dwell in villages, and are rarely seen outside of those locations. Moreover, they have a compelling lust for emeralds and will typically go to any measure to obtain even the slightest amount. Pink Sheep and The Villager Boss seem to be their leaders, with the former being in charge of every emerald they collect. Typically, Villagers appear incredibly stupid and incompetent, but are later revealed to be highly organized and strategic, they make stuff and have done various things with this arsenal, such as kidnapping Notch in If Notch was Kidnapped by Villagers, making food rare in If Food was Rare, and various other things. Despite the update in ExplodingTNT's video villagers act mostly the same and are kind of treated the same however they have acknowledge the update in one way the way that they now make better but still bad trades.
Villagers prefer emeralds to diamonds. They even try to exchange emeralds for extremly common items, such as dirt or cobblestone.
